The Longevity pop up, brought to you by Belle (all things nutrition) & Tanya (culinary genius) celebrates healthy, happiness and community.
The Longevity Kitchen is all about bringing people together to eat nourishing food in a community setting within the surrounds of a beautiful family home. The menu will be focusing in this event on the flavours of Okinawa, one of the Blue Zones - in fact the area of the world which boasts the greatest longevity stats.
As we work our way through three tasty courses of plant-based foods, Belle - Nutritionist - will be discussing what research tells us about the longevity statistics in this area of the world. Which plant compounds may be attributed to long term health? Are there culinary tips we could learn from this region or is health all about connection? This and more will be discussed.
We will be serving up three courses of delicious vegetarian plant-based cuisine of east-west fusion. This is not a dairy free, gluten free or vegan event but reflects the types of traditional foods which are eaten in this region. Tanya will be at hand to answer questions on how to create these incredible dishes.
We have a licensed CASH bar and a beautiful venue lined up for our diners.
Dietary requests can be accommodated if prior notice is given. We will need a minimum of 36 hours so please email your intolerance or allergy to bellenutrition@gmail.com on booking.
Guests can arrive from 7 pm. We will be sending out the menu and wine list a few days prior to the event.
